GTP temperatures

I have read lots of information regarding GTP and most people say they keep their snakes at 86F at the hot end, do people turn the temps down at night? if so what temp should it go down to?

I use 80 in the cold end and 85 in the hot end during the day then 75 and 80 at night...some people do not turn them down at night...
