I've been interested in herps my whole life, but have had mixed results trying to find any wild specimens. I live in southern Idaho, and I'm planning to really apply myself this spring/summer. Does anyone have any suggestionsabout what habitat the fallowing species could be found this time of year(and maybe if I should flip things like logs, tin, ect., look through brush piles, road cruise, whetever).

So far all I have been able to find are two Pacific TF(one brown male and one dark green female), and a juvinile Tiger Salamander.

These are (in general), the species I'm currently looking for:
Bull Frogs
Garter or Ribbon snakes
Gopher Snakes
Northern Leopard frog
Any Turtles
Desert Horned Lizards
Desert Collared Lizards
Leopared Lizards
Short Horned Lizard
Sagebrush Lizards
Western Fence Lizards
Side Blotched Lizards
Western Whiptail
Western Skink
Rubber Boa
Desert Collared Lizards
Racers
Ringnecks
Night Snakes
Whipsnakes
