do american toads need some what of seasons winter summer fall (i caught from the wild)

i was wondering to american toads need seasons winter fall summer spring because i was planning on just putting a reptilelamp over the cage for more light because i get no light in my room and i just wanted to know.

Well it is needed for an extinguishablishable night and day. The Seasons should not really matter unless you caught it right before winter even then it is not likely.
