just wondering what kind of cameras you guys are using. i've used a range of digital cameras from a 150dollar HP to a 400 dollar ( can't remember the name)
and it all ends up to be blurry if i try to get any even remotely close up pictures.
i want to get more of the skin texture/pattern of my satanics and ( soon to be 3 more mossys and 3 more satanics)
i'm thinking of going to a non digital camera because with my experience they just don't have the quality.
please let me know.

You really have to learn how to use them, here is a pic of my redeye female I took, very clear, nice close up !

I use a Nikon coolpix 4500 and I have been learning for almost a year. And still stink,

Lighting, is a big part, so many settings, shutter speeds, just a ton to learn.

Lilly the frog is awesome, BUT...... there are many days, I dont use the proper flash or whatever and I do get a stinko pic !

Nice thing about digi's you can practice forever, just delete the ones that stink.

But if ya work on learning the camera, they do get better !!!

Hey Andrew, the camera I use is just a 3.1 MP Kodak EasyShare DX4330... I paid about $300 for the cam and bay about 2 years ago... You can pick one up on Ebay for around $100 bucks now... I do have lens attachments that serve several different functions, but most of my pics are taken with a naked lens... Digital cameras are frustrating... Usually to get an absolutely clear pic I have to rest the camera up against something... The SLIGHTEST movement will throw the clarity...

That is a great picture!... I also have some red-eyes, and they are very hard to get a clear, non-washed out shot of...
You're abosolutely right Eve, lighting is a huge factor... When I get my great pictures, the settting is almost always staged, such as bringing in a seperate light source... Here is my favorite picture I have taken of one of my Red-Eyes... It's not exaclty on, but its very close and the lighting allowed for great color...

i just got a nikon coolpix 3700 for my birthday in february, and thats been what i use to take all my pics. its 3.2 megapixel, and the only things you need to get used to are the closeup shots and lighting and whatnot, and a lot of trying to hold the camera steady.

I borrow a camera when need to take pics, I still haven’t decided which one to get hahaha. The one I have been using is a canon, I forget the model.
