WD with respitory infection

deuce02 Mar 31, 2004 01:02 PM

My WD has a respiratory infection. Its had its mouth open for about a week and on Monday I noticed a clear filmy substance. And there was a lot! I got her on antibiotics, she's now quarantined, and I got her heat increased. Any other things I could do to help her? She's been drinking, and seems to be eating some as well. So I guess she's feelin a lil better. How long should I keep her quarantined?

Usually respritory infections are not contagious, so he can't give it to another dragon, but you may want to keep him separate until he is feeling better, he may not be able to deal with the stress of the other dragons.
