There are easier ways to kill someone

Just kidding. Seems to me I read an article by Ditmars (or another author) about 20 years ago (hence my lack of memory) where the author allowed himself to be invenomated by a pigmy. He was a large man and suffered greatly in bed for about 3 days but didn't die. Does anyone else remember that article? Seems to me he stated he had to be fed ice for drinking water. Bah! My memory fails me. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

a pigmy rattlesnake may not be able to kill an adult male, but do not underestimate it. TV has made venomous snakes very popular latley. too many people rush out and get a nice new pet that they don't understand or respect. I'm in no way accusing you of doing this, but I must say, a venomous of any type is EXTREMELY dangerous. Please don't get a pigmy because you think it is a safe rattlesnake. If you do this, you will not respect its potential. Read everything you can get your hands on. become an expert on venomous, especially any you plan on keeping. most important, take any and every precaution you can. don't touch if you don't have too. I've had venomous snakes for 15 years. I've never HAD to touch them with my hands, not once. I'm afraid that all of these uneducated people getting bit is eventualy going to out law my passion. Don't be one of them. Again, I'm not accusing you of anything. Please, for your sake and all of our's, be carfull. Chris
