Is there any online breeder that sells Smooth Green Snakes? Any information on getting one would be greatly appreciated!

are a poor captive. Roughs are just as pretty and fair better in captivity. And most snake breeders and stores will not carry them, unlike what helmz said. You can maybe find them at petco or something, but why pay for a snake that is more likely to die than one you find yourself and obtain for free.

I've kept a few smooth greens and never had a problem, but I'm in the native range, I've always kept them for a month or so and put them back.

I don't know where you could find one for sale, I would just try my luck at some seedy pet store or on the Internet with an importer.

You know...If you are into smooth greens, you might want to consider the oriental Giant Green Snake. Cyclophiops major. It reaches forty inches, is buit heavier than our greens and has a gorgeous emerald color-with the typical yellow veneer.

They fed an large earthworms (I used night crawlers)and are best kept in a moist terrarium. I have kept this species and they do well in pairs. Not the easiest species to locate, but if you like "greens" it's the ultimate!
