My whites treefrog(Max) eats only one cricket a day and seems to look skinny compared to other whites. I've been looking at pics of whites and many have a fat layer behind their eyes. My frog doesnt. Is this healthy or a problem. His bones dont show and he is still kind of a baby.

Parasites are the obvious things to look at. Talk to your vet about a fecal float. Cheap and simple to do.

Do you have other Whites in the enclosure with him, or is he solitary? They can be agressive feeders, and smaller ones can be bullied by the larger ones.

Is he in a nice, quiet, non-stressful environment? Many amphibians "hear" through a combonation of the tympanum, and vibrations. Even having a stereo on in the same room, or people coming and going a lot, could stress yhour animal.

In addition to the fecal that Colchicine suggested, I'd also look around the area the enclosure is in, and see if anything could be adding to the stress of the frogs.

He is all alone and i am thinking about getting another one. I fed him some larger ones and now he looks more plump. He still doesnt have fat behind his eyes. Im starting to think maybe he doesnt have enough fat stored around his body cause he is still a baby.
