sleeping differently

JIM240 Mar 31, 2004 05:59 PM

for about a week, Kora has been acting weird. she has a small cut at the top of her tail. could that prevent her from laying eggs?( cause i'm guessing they come out of her near that area ) well, she hasn't ever moved her tail much anymore. any suggestions? i have another thing to say too. she has been sleeping differently. there's this big rock in there cage that they bask on. it's held up on a huge brick. to balance it, there's a rock in the front. anyway, there's a lot of room in the back for Koko, Kane, and Kora to sleep. there's a small opening in the front where the small rock balances the big one. Kora's been sleeping in there. there's barely any sand there because the lizards jump to the wall a lot and kick the sand away when they jump i guess, but i'm not 100% sure. anyway that's not the most comfortable place for her so i'm just wondering why she's there. it's probably no big deal but if any of you have idea's why she could be there give me a response. MIKE

when it comes to sleeping arrangements,my collaris female will sleep behind a rockwith the tiniest of gaps, vertical. My nile 3 and a half foot nile sleeps in a 2 in gap between the wall and i had a leo that sleptunder a bit slate that was practically flat on the tank floor,Its more do with safety than comfort so i wouldnt worry, she knows where the best place to sleep is.I feel that my bicinctores must feel pretty secure because they all sleep where they fall, when the lights go out, whether that be out in hte open,on a basking ledge or behind a rock.take care
