baby steps at bath time...

pepe15 Mar 31, 2004 05:59 PM

Ok, so today was the first day that both Koda and Zeus got a bath. Koda, being used to handling more walked off my hand, had a nice long drink and then wanted out in about 5 mins. Zeus on the other hand, still doesn't like to be held at all, fought the whole time. But I did make his rear end stay in the water for about 5 mins b/c he will not drink from being misted anymore, droppers or anything else I have read about. Overall, I don't think this is that bad for their first times. They had seperate bath times too, as Koda is a bit bigger than Zeus.

And yes, I did follow all of the tips in the reptile rooms bathing instructions: 96-99 temps, cloth on bottom, container they can see over and never leave then alone, etc.

Just thought I would share...it was too cute to have 2 beardie burritos after their baths. And yes Eve, I will post pics soon, just have to get to a scanner!
