No way would I house snakes and igs together. each have different humidity needs as well as lighting and humidity needs. The spread of disease and the snakes crawling through ig droppings.....

Plus, I would think that the boa would gladly eat the iguana given the chance...

Yep....placing a prey animal and a predatory animal together is just stupid. I'd say no...unless you want to injure your animals.

The green iguana is literally on the red tail's menu in the wild. And a snake's eyes can be bigger than their stomachs sometimes. Not to mention what the iguana could do to the snake if it got spooked

I also have snakes...2 Eastern Florida Kings...I've been around snakes a LOT longer than my ig & my question would be why?

Like the first post stated...different needs as far as enviroment. Completely different.

We have had them outside in the yard together while out to do their "business" with no problems...Forest (the ig) just looked at them, the 2 snakes just crawled over him...but they need very different enviroments.
