I've been lurking in this forum since I got my 2 female juvi's 1 month ago. They were not eating much (maybe 1 cricket a night, sometimes none) and regurgitated much of what they ate. I took them to the vet 2 weeks ago and he found hookworms and provided me with de-wormer. After their second dose they are doing much better.
In the cam you'll see their primary hide (cardboard box), water dish, and feeding dish. The feeding dish really stimulates eating for my geckos. I place crickets in the dish (they won't touch mealies) and they watch from their hide as they crawl by. Then they jump out and munch down a cricket, then go back to watch for more. As they've been getting better they eat more each night. Last night they ate 5 3/4" crickets..mmmm
I know they should be eating more, but its a good start. The crickets can't escape from the dish, so I leave some at night and watch the webcam. I'm using a camcorder so I can see in the dark unlike most normal webcams. In the morning I count how many are left and remove them to be re-gut-loaded.
Behind the visible hide is another hide and a piece of driftwood. They always poop on the wood instead of the paper towel substrate...good and bad, as I have to keep cleaning the wood but I don't have to change the paper towels as often
To the right of the feeding dish is a small dish of calcuim powder. Everything is a bit cluttered now so I'll be getting a 20L tank soon.
The picture is from the day after I got them. They are inside the box from the red reptile light bulb. They look much better now and are starting to fatten up a bit. At the time I didn't know what to look for and got skinny tailed geckos. On the top is Mozilla and on the bottom is Rosy.
