same question...humidty box or no?

same question...please reply tis time! are humidity boxes good if i just put it in when its going to shed?...or should i keep on there permanently or should i not have one at all...PLEASE REPLY! thanks!

Personally I only put one in just after their eyes clear up, and then remove after they shed. I think if you leave it in all the time its just one more thing to keep clean, great place for bacteria to breed. Just my thought.

Eric, you are doing a great job with that snake, but I think you need to relax a bit and enjoy it! Don't worry about every little thing, snakes are surprisingly resourceful and some even enjoy solitude. The great Ginter once told me that the best thing you can do for a new snake is let it alone for about a week. Keep us posted, and please post some more of those great pics!

well..i know im a bit paranoid...and thats was my downfall on my first snake...i failed a corn...how embarassing...ive done lots of reading..and ive been able to not handle my snake for a whole week now...with the exception of moving it when i clean and feed...but ive refrained from fondling it..im gonna give her another week to get accustomed...but i don't want a bad shed...and im worried cuz my humidity level is like 35....which i heard is good...but i don' tknow if they will shed cleanly if not provided with a good humidity box...
