We have a nine year old burmese python. He has a history of respiratory problems. The vet isnt 100% sure if it is a respiratory virus or not, hes in the process of being seen and diagnosed. His head region is very swollen and irritated. I am wondering in this state is it possible to spread to any other type of species, or lizard, in general. I keep leopard geckos, an iguana, and savannah monitor all in the same room, which is 25 ft by 15 ft. We are careful to not handle one after the other without a thorough washing, but ive heard of people quarantining in completely different rooms.
