and when he was pulling off the dead skin with his mouth, he hurt his toe, and it bled a little. It almost looks like he bit some of his bottom part of his toe off. Should I do anything or is this normal? He is eating and acting fine.

This does happen from time to time, you’re leo will be able to manage just fine even if it loses a digit or toenail. Try to figure out if there are any husbandry issues that you can fix, so this won’t happen again. The big thing I can think of is that hatchlings must have their humid hideout misted daily. Even if everything is perfect, sometimes leos have poor sheds. For now, I’d dab a small amount of aniti-biotic ointment on the wound until it is healed, and keep the cage extra clean. He's not a hatchling he's about 3 months old. As far as the others in the cage, I saw him pulling off his dead skin and saw him do it himself.
I guess I misunderstood, you said baby in the subject, and I assumed it was a hatchling. Anyhow the same advise holds true for a leo of 3 months also.
