Ssnapper found...

A few days ago I posted about my escaped common snapper. Well, he hadn't escaped. He had totally buried himself in the land part of his enclosure. I've never seen him on land before and the only reason it's there is that there are some frogs upi there. Anyway, any idea why he might have done this? I would think with his their ravenous appetites he would have come back out on his own.

That's what I thought. With this crazy spring weather it has been difficult keeping the herp room at the right temp. I raised his water temp and he hasn't done it again. Thanks.
