I have read that breeding a female beardie too early can lead to egg binding and other complications. what is a safe age for her to be bread? i've heard 1-1/2yr but i'm not positive
i ask this because i am purchasing two morph female beardies (one yellow and the other red) as companions for my male who recently lost his older cage mate, my new additions are only about 8 weeks each and i am finishing a nice size terrarium for them but i wasn't sure if they could all be together. This leads me to my next questions.
At what age do female bd's become sexually mature, and how long from maturity till safe clutch laying?
Is it okay to put the females in with my male if they are not 'of age' yet.
