How to move turtles

demunchkin Apr 01, 2004 02:09 PM

Hi all,

We are moving thie weekend. I wanted to see what the best way would be to move our two RES. We're only moving across town, so it won't be that long/far.

I thought I heard somewhere that you could wrap them carefully in a damp towl and stick them in a box. Is this a true statement? I don't want to hurt them or stress them out too badly.

Thanks,
Devin

If your only moving across town don't sweat it. You can just put them in a box (dry) and go. Or put them in an pillow case then a box. They'll be fine. Just keep them out of extreme heat or cold during the process.
