Thats a good way to get your pretty bloodred impacted.
You shouldnt feed on the bedding.

Is that an order? LOL, I have been feeding like this for many year. I have never had a single problem. They digest everything that goes in just fine. I think a piece of wood is no harder to digest than mouse teeth. How do corns in the wild eat? They have no little napkins on or platsic feeding cages.

I always thought you where a nice guy but after reading you adopted the snakes from Dianne you stepped up on my admiration ladder Good stuff you will have bloodred too. When will they arrive?

Thank you for the kind words.
It just happened that I had a little extra cash and was able to help out a friend. I guarantee Dianne would do the same if the circumstances were reversed.
I am not exactly sure when she will get them shipped out but If she gets the check today or Monday then I might be getting them before the end of the week.....Can't wait.
I will post pics when I get them..
Oh by the way.. I am on the waiting list for a pair of butters.
They are from two different clutches and should be hatching in a couple of months..can't wait for them either.

I have 17 corns and 2 bairds rat snakes now.
I have three everglades rat snakes that will be arriving next week.
They are from a rescuer friend in Florida. Two are still being tube fed because they won't eat. Hopefully I will be able to save them.
I am getting the eight corns from Dianne and I am on a waiting list for the two butters and another waiting list fro a male stripe cream to go with my female and two cinnamon (creams).
So by the end of the spring I should have 35 snakes.
Then when you factor in 14 eggs incubating, one cream about to go into her pre lay shed and another cream about 10 to 14 days behind her that total could easily double.
It should be fun.....lol

How far are the eggs in the incubator? She laid them in Januari right? Shouldn't you have hachtlings by now?

The eggs were laid Feb. 13
The parents hooked up in early January.

I haven't been to the mailbox yet....darn thing is too far away to walk, but my neighbor's bringing me there this afternoon. I plan to ship tomorrow, but I'm late on about everything I do, always! So they'll likely ship tuesday But either way, you'll definately have them before weeks end! I been kissing them all goodbye all weekend

The bloods are from different females, (I think different males too, Kathy could probably tell you for sure, my memory is absent most of the time )

Oh and marcel, I feed on the aspen half the time too, and no-ones had any trouble...at least it's not repti-bark
