I was just wondering if anyone knows the average home range of an adult eastern milksnake? I had one about two years ago I released and was wondering if I might be able to turn it up again by setting out some tin.
Thanks

First,I have to ask, tell me you didnt let a non-native(or locale for that matter)go in your backyard......That said, males have homeranges of several acres but females are much more sedentary, spending far more time underground. If you dont have many predators,a decent food supply and some good weather I would not bet against you finding it.Jeff
no it's not none natve I live in NY. also it's kinda a funny story I caught the snake as a neonate a few years ago and it escaped. well two years later I caught it again it was alot bigger, I could tell it was the same one b/c I took a pic of it and all the markings were identical, it is a female I found it less than 100 yards from where I live, the reason I am seeking this one is cause it is extremely light for a eastern around here almost red and a faded brown, it has eaten great both times I had it. I'll post pics soon just put my digital camera on layaway
Thanks
