Well, it's been forever since I've posted here.. but here goes. My leo is 8 months old now, and has really grown friendly towards me. She now climbs readily into my hand without provocation. So far so good right? Well, with this newfound affection, my leo has taken up a habbit of pooping on me sometimes. She never used to do this when I handled her in the past. I remember someone a long time ago posting similarly, do any of you out there have leos with this habbit?

I wouldnt consider it a habbit.. Maybe a defense or maybe when you go to handle him thats the time he needs to go? Or perhaps you handle him for so long it just happens. As often as I clean my tanks id say that geckos go to the bathroom a minimum of once a day.. Also, how much you are feeding him could be effecting this....

My leo did this for a long time. In fact it was probably me that you remember posting about it. My female was alone in her tank, and she had stopped pooping in it all together. She waited for me to bring her out. So i just stopped brining her out for a few weeks, she got back into the habbit of pooping in her tank, and she never has pooped on me again.

Yeah my gecko louis once peed on me, although it could have ben something else.
