whats a good care sheet for the monical cobras?

i dont have any experiance with venomus snakes, i plan on working my way up to a monical cobra, and a rhino viper. im obveously not goin to start out with them. but just for my own wisdom id like to kno more about the monical cobra.

Hey,

By working your way up to these animals, I hope that you mean work with other people. My mentor has a really big monocle and that thing is wicked powerful. Tailing this thing is nothing like tailing his black pakistan cobra. Working with one species really doesn't prepare you for working with another.

So, with that said, here is Richard Mastenbroeck's web page. Although you shouldn't be worried about how to actually care for these guys yet, it is a good read. Please find someone with this snake before getting one.

While your on R. mastenbroeks page, click the link "Warning". There are some nice photos of monocle cobra bites, which are a must see if you plan on someday obtaining this species. Not for the faint of heart.
