Just wondering what is a good height for tubs for mice. I have some that are 3 1/2 now. Is 4" too high for them? The 3 1/2 is ok but the tub is so small. Lookin for bigger tubs but not too high. I know someone said the dollar stores but they don't have any here.

You can use however high tubs you want to use, I use tubs that are 12" high but then again I don't use a rack system or have many tubs so space isn't too much a concern. The tubs I use I purchased from Walmart for under $6 CDN each.

I am gonna have a rack system so the food can be on top of the wire. So the tub has to be low enough for the mice to eat. Thats why I was wondering.

Yeah I used the same type of rack system with the 1/4 wire. I have some small cat litter pans but they are pretty small. Maybe ok for 1.2 but thats pushing it. I did find some Doskocil litter pans , med size online for under $2 plus shipping. So I might go that route. Even the med. Van ness ones at Walmart are 3.88.
