are there any aggressive any really large turtle that is capable of fataly wounding somebody?

Large Common and Aly Snappers can remove fingers. Nothing your going to die from.

A full grown Leatherback sea turtle (Dermochelys coriacea) could probably take you out with a well placed bite to the throat.
