caring for a pregnant Alli...?

Will other gators in the cage bother the nest site,should i remove the other ones (dad),before the eggs are laid. Any help would be great...

There shouldn't be any problem leaving them together. Be sure to provide the female with an appropriate area to lay her eggs. A plastic container with a hole cut in the side and filled with a damp substrate such as bed-a-beast works well (usually the female will kick the male out when she's ready to lay). Once the eggs are laid they should be removed. Put them in a container with damp vermiculite and keep them at room temperature (low - mid 70's) and they should hatch in a couple of months. When removing the eggs, be careful not to rotate them or you could drown the embryo.

I was reading other letters about more than one lizard in a cage...I have a 60 gal. with live plants and three different lights for them,In there I have mom,dad and another litte girl.Is that to many for the amount of room they have... thanks again for your help Alice...John

You should be fine. The scale I use is no more than to mid to full grown indeviduals in no less that a 20G long enclosure.
