Just recently my smaller res has developed these white spots on the top of his shell and the bottem of his shell looks like there is dust sitting on it! I just mean that it looks like dust he has deep water to swim in and a basking spot with a UV bulb.He loves to bask.Does he have shell rot or something else what can I do to make it go away.Any help is appreciated.

a picture would be helpful, but i understand not everyone has a digital camera. are you sure it isnt shedding? i thought mine had white spots when it was a baby, but then i realized it was shedding instead. i am not sure what else it could be. you seem to be doing everything right (heat light & deep water). do you feed your turtle a variety of food? and calcium?? calcium helps the shell. maybe it could be a lack of calcium... other than that, i have no clue. Hope this helps!
