My little guy is absolutely terrified of everything. If he gets the least bit disturbed, he will hide for the entire night. I have to spray around him, because if he even gets sprayed with water he hides. If he sees me, he runs and hides. If I open his lid, he runs and hides. This bothers me because I worry about him eating. Even so I have only seen him eating once in the month I've had him. I hand feed him baby food 2x a week just to make sure I see him eating something. I leave 1/4 inch crix in the cage 24/7. They cannot get out of their containier, but my cresty can. Its hard to tell, but I also haven't noticed much if any growth. He has plenty of foliage to hide in, and he is in my room which gets very little traffic, just me going to bed. Temps and humidity are all good. I just worry that he is starving himself or something because he doesn't feel secure. Any ideas on how to make them feel safer? Should I maybe put him in a smaller container (hes in a 10 gallon right now)?
