That Kelly and Derrek got from Cheri. Due to unfortunate circumstances on their end, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with this bloodline. I will post more info about him and the breeding projects he will be involved in when I get my website up.

have passed him in weight and length. He was double the size of the next closest (except one that was between them)until a few months into his new home, then the others started passing him.

He was the only one not kept under UVB lights. The other 8 that were under him in weight are 17-18 inches and around or over 300 grams. Since Derek was known to have good husbandry with diet, supplements, temps and really worked with his dragons a lot, the only thing I can see that changed was he, unlike the others, was deprived of UVB light.

It was colder there than some places, but the smallest of those eight was in the same area and that one has the greatest weight gain of any of them, over 300 grams and still growing well, so I do not think local climate was a factor.

But then, of course this is not scientific, just knowing that all these babies were silbings, went to experienced, caring breeders and owners with good husbandry and all were kept in like conditions, EXCEPT this one lost UVB lights a few months into his new home, which was the same time his growthed slowed dramatically.... leads me to think that is the factor that slowed his growth and development, not something that was unexpected by dragons raised only on supplements.
