Olive Python?

KeoniKoch Jun 13, 2003 12:14 AM

I have always thought that Olives where just gorgeous animals, and thought I read they have good temperments. Is there a breeders of Olives in the states and does anyone have any experience with them? Thanks for sharing any info

Hello,

I have 2 pairs of Olive Pythons. I hope to breed one pair this year, but I will wait one more year for my smaller pair. Olives are awesome. They are very active, and they seem to me to be highly intelligent. All of mine are very docile except at feeding time. You don't want to come between them and a rat!

Take care,
Jeff

How's it going? The pic I posted was your male. I hope to have some new pics soon.

Take care,
Jeff

What willijf said sums up the Olive python. Can't really add anything other then they're underrated??
If your interested in getting one, contact the Charmichaels. I got mine from Chris, great guy, great snakes.
Take care

I have a home page at Malone College. Try to navigate to the Department of Natural Sciences, and then you will find me under the faculty listing. I still need to post pics of my olive colony on my home page which I will try to do shortly. These are absolutely beautiful snakes and definitely have great dispositions. I had a bunch last year, and then had a year off this past season, and should have them ready to go again this coming breeding season.
Cheers!
