I'm not sure. I've given Baytril SQ and one other one (I can't remember the name of it though) it's an IM though. Both cause dehydration as a side effect so you might want to pick up some pedialite and a syrenge from the drug store and keep him hydrated. May also grind some pellet into the mix if he goes off his food. I've got a drug list with dosages if you want me to email it to you (just in case you have a not so good vet that needs some help). I've got some severe tail nips (rescue cases) and they will usually pull through. They tend to form a block above the infection and that's where it will fall off.

I dont know if he is going to pull through he doesnt open his eyes and he cant regulate his temps so i have to move him back and forth.Do I crush up the pellets and mix then with the pedialyte?

I like to send them through a coffee grinder, but you can crush them between a couple spoons also.

Cipro is a really good antibiotic that has brought some dragons we have rescued back from deaths door with infections.

We have one right now that I do not think is going to make it either, he came to us on Sunday and spent Wednesday and Thrusday at the Vets office and there is nothing more they can do.

He was impacted bad and the Vets have got that out, (oil and three enemas) but he was also overdosed on some new supplememts and there is not much to do about that but hope time flushes some out and they can survive with minimal damage. It's hard to watch them in such bad shape, little head laying down and not moving, but we have seen a few pull though and recover. Just sad they got that way to begin with or others advice was wrong or lacking infomation
