Thats funny, i see my first tail shake today too ! One crix escaped from the dish and the gecko start to chase him. Thats very cute to see that little tail shake . Do they still do that when they are adult ?

mine used to shake hers, but not anymore.. she's not an adult, she's about 6 months old.. well she eats mealies now, so maybe she would do it if she still got crix..

Only do the tail shake when they're hunting down crix. They don't get too excited over mealworms. And ones 4 years old. Anyone have this too? Only shaking for crix?

well isis is too young to tell but she has only done it for crix, but then again she wouldnt even touch the mealworms. its probably a stimulation thing the crickets are larger and move around more. quite honestly it remindes me of how a cat hunts. they wag their tail when attackning things as well.
