Beard Flexing?

DragonsTale Apr 02, 2004 08:36 PM

Once in a while my adult female beardie will sort of push her beard in and out, 5-6 times in a row. Not necessarily inflating it like she does when she shows her attitude, but sort of flexing it. It almost looks like she's choking or trying to work something out, but she's not eating when it happens. Anyone else's beardies do this? Is this a normal behavior?

Yes, it's normal. Both of mine do it. I've heard it referred to as their morning exercises

My guy will do that sometimes, just feeling sassy I guess.
