Hi all, Linda here. My hubby Paul which is who takes care of Monty most of the time got bit by him tonight. Mostly all I do is pet him... I think we both know why though... We had some friends up today and we where all outside and come to find out, there was 3 kids in the room pecking and rubbing the side of his cage and he was stricking at them and they was getting a kick out of it... That s**t won't happen no more!!! Putting a lock on the door tomorrow... Monty got him by the finger, but it was mainly just a strike, not a grab and hold type bite, but it did bring a lil blood...
Well, just wanted to post this due to the fact of AGGRESIVENESS!!! Guess kids can do that when nobody's around to watch them!!!
This message was mainly posted to let everyone know to just be aware that tantalizing can make a BP aggresive which is what happened today, or so we think!!!
Thanks for reading...
Linda & Paul...
Good Luck All!!!

I always go into fits when we visit the reptile house at the San Diego Zoo...all those kids tapping the glass, it makes me sick! I actually got into a fist fight with some kid's dad when I asked the kid to stop doing it. I explained that it stresses the snakes out, and the kid said he didn't know that and was sorry. It was all fine, the kid knew better now and wasn't going to do it anymore. But his dad gets like "who the hell are you to tell my kid what to do?!" The kid didn't know, how could he in this jerk's house?

My son wouldn't DARE do it. In fact, if I walk past HIS snake's tank too close or too fast he says "Don't stress out my snake, Dad!" It's so cute to hear your 5-year-old say that. And it makes me feel good about him as a responsible snake owner. His friends try to get him to bring his snake outside and he doesn't even budge...he says "snakes aren't toys, they're friends. They stay inside." I think he got it from Finding Nemo, but it's really cute nonetheless. Ummm...what was I talking about again???
