She just won't stop! She makes my best feeding ball pythons look anorexic. I've offered this girl rats and mice of all sizes (I have a bunch of tiny little fuzzy mice to get rid of) and she gobbles them up like a champ, no matter what I offer or when.
She's from the Learys- a Naomi baby. I plan on making her my display animal when I get the time and cash to set up a proper enclosure with all the bells and whistles. She sure isn't shy, and she sure is beautiful.
Being my first carpet, I think of her as just the beginning to another addiction. Seeing all these babies on the forum makes me want another carpet. I'm torn between going larger with a coastal or smaller with an IJ. Somehow I see myself doing both?? Why don't more people reccomend JCPs and other carpets as a beginner snake? Her husbandry is as "easy" as my balls' but she has 0% of their feeding worries. That and she's pretty, active and definately handaleable (after the neonate nips).
Here she is:
