I currently have sliders and a musk turtle (stinkpot) housed together in an aquarium. They are very compatible. Can I safely add a common snapping turtle and expect good results?

i sure wouldn't unless u want world war 3. ur only asking for trouble. i know that i once tried to put my turtle (when he was small) with a painted turtle that was much larger and he was determined to kill and eat it as soon as he entered the water. so i wouldnt.
I thought as much. So I will provide a separate habitat.

Hello there,
I too don't recommend adding any snapper species along with your already turtle duo. Snappers are agressive, and like to take advantage and EAT everything, and anything that moves...literally...no jokes...ok?...I'll stop now...lol
I do keep three baby snappers together successfully, and they are a roudy bunch. I keep them well fed, and they do not attack each other...BUT, during feedings there is the occasional bite of another snapper tail, shell etc, in which then I have to lure the baby predator to come off his fellow sibling!
Anywho, in gerneral MIXING different species is a bad idea. I'm not saying it can't be done, BUT just not highly recommended... PLUS, when your snapper gets big,OH MAMA say goodbye to any other creature in that tank. Snappers are big responsibility!

Thx-Buddy 25-
I'l follow your advice.
