Starting Cage for Ackies...

matthew Apr 02, 2004 10:54 PM

Just wondering if it would be better to go on and put them in a 40gal breeder, or a 20gal long. I plan on getting babies, 2-3 of them.
thanks,
matt

Even though it costs a little more, go with the 40 breeder. At least when they grow out of it you have a more practical extra cage. I like the breeders due to their extra width. The little guys can certainly start in the 20, but I think the 40 is a better investment and gives you more options to create a nice environment for them.
