My newly-caught AL

Roger Van Couwen Apr 02, 2004 11:39 PM

He's ok, but he wants out of his tank. I never can keep AL's because I live in their habitat and can release then back to the spot I collected them. My guy is rending my heart with his escape behavior. But I think I'll fatten him up for release in a couple of months, so he gets a good start on next season's brummation. I really admire AL's personalities.

Just remember if you plan to reliese him not to be in to close of contact with him. I would also not recomend "fatening him up" as this for 1 may get him use to somone els providing food for him an for 2 it will make him slugishes so he will be unsuccessfull in fending off a posable atacer. Stay with the normal intake of 20-40 krickets a week.
