Hi everyone!!
I know i'm not in the good forum for my question but there is not a lot of expert on the red ear sliders forum and i think you guys can easyly answer me because you are experts about not only cornsnakes but reptiles in general!!
I have a RES turtle, she's 12 years old now, i care for her very well, feed her in a separated container, and she always have been an excellent eater.
Since few weeks to a month, she have starded to refuse her meals, no more reptiles sticks and shrimps. Her poops were white, yellow to pink sometimes and very mucous. So i try to feed her fish and meat and she want only eat that kind of food. And since few days, she still eat fish but whit very low appetite. Before all of this she was a very active turtule, always up at 6 am in the morning and making a lot of noise to make sure i didn't forgot to feed her, now she just wait for me on basking area.
I have to add that she have had problems this summer, she was eating her rocks, i dont know for how long she was doing that but when i realize it i remove all the rocks and people on the RES forum told me it was a very frequent habit with turtles.
So if someone can told me what could be the problem and what should i do i would be very happy.
She's going to the vet next friday. So for now i adjust water temperature.
Thanks
