F2 update.......................

FroggieB Apr 03, 2004 03:52 PM

Well, as of late this morning all but 5 of the 18 F2 eggs have pipped! The other two clutches, F1s, have hatched and some are already feeding.

I am going to have to get a pic of these guys when they try to scare you off. It's the funniest thing I have ever seen. They open up their mouth and puff out their little throat and they look like a mouth with legs and a tail! FUNNY!! I just don't get how that could scare away a predator!

Forgot to bring my disc today but will try my best to get up some pics on Monday.

Cannot wait

They will be WAY cuter than my babies (and THAT is saying somethign)

Erowen is eating pretty well
and I have a dish of Worms (redworms) that I shake up and put a baby on ever 3 days or so.
Except for the Day I had 3 Animals all regurge their food (well sort of) they have eaten a worm each time I offered. Then I put them in the water, and they go NUTS for a min, dancing around. Then they come out and CHARGE something or another, then they settle down on the Branch of their Choosing (well Spike does not dance as much, but he chases shadows a lot more)

Sounds like a lot of activity at feeding time!
