what the hell is this???

my gecko just shed (see "my gecko just shed!!! thread for pix) and while he was shedding i noticed this thing on the other isde of the tank that looked like a bunch of mealworms stuck together. did he throw these up or something? what hsoudl i do about it?

pull it apart and accually tell that they are milliworms, then yes it is puke. dont wrry bout it, it means it ate to meny a one shot. let him go cause hes prob stressed. try again in 2 days.

It looks like your gecko threw up his mealworms. As long as it is an isolated incident, I wouldn't worry much about it. But, if it starts happening repeatedly , a trip to the vet would be in order. I know that throwing up is a symptom of some parasitic infections.

no this is the first time it's happened. he ate like 8 of them early this morning and never took a poop so i guess that's what it is...hopefulyl it wont happen again

I agree, that’s what leopard puke looks like. Once isn’t a big deal, but keep a close eye on your leo to see if it happens again. Most times it’s due to overeating, and once they throw up they seem to better understand the size of their stomachs. If it is a recurring problem, you need to see a vet. Best of luck,
