LOL
Personally.... I dont like it.
Nice snake.. but just not for me

I agree with the previous post. I don't like that albino much. It looks very mottled. I don't buy into the whole "Jeff Ronne is God" religion. Some people do ... I do not.

Just another weird albino if you ask me.

I don't remember calling him a god in my post....

If you don't like the albino.......That's cool. Everyone has a right to their oppinion.

But, your lack of respect bothers me.

Here is what I know about Jeff Ronne.
1)He's one of the most honest guys out there.
2)He's reliable.
3)He has done a lot for this hobby in my honest opinion.
4)His animals are really amazing. Again, my opinion.

It's late.........But, I could go on and on. He's a good guy in my book. Have some repect if you don't mind.

I dont care weather you think Jeff Ronne is "God" or not. I dont even care weather you like the snake or not (which I personally love). You have to respect as a hobbiest and breeder the time and dedication from years of selective breeding it takes to produce this kind of an animal. It dosent matter if it was Jeff that produced it or "Joe Shmow". Just think for a minute that this color is not a genetic morph!!! It took years and years of selective breeding to produce snakes consistently showing that type of color. Anyone can buy a pair of hets, breed them back and make actuals, but the time and dedication it takes to refine genes to a point where you can time and time again produce amazing amimals like that is truly an art. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

very beautiful snake, no need to bicker on a message board. all snakes no matter what color are beautiful, we should admire and love them all...

vcaruso15 Apr 05, 2004 08:48 AM

Believe me I do love all snakes of all shapes, sizes and colors. The thing I have a problem with is someone trying to downgrade the accomplishments of others just because of who it is. The statement I made was not with the intention of bickering, but just to try to provide a little insite to the blood sweat and tears that go in to producing an animal like that. I just wish people would respect that regardless who produced it.

christopher_o Apr 05, 2004 06:49 PM

blood, sweat, tears, and the money and infuence to be first in line when a new abberation arrives at the dock...just kidding!

i don't know jeff ronne...so i don't have an opinion of him as a person. i've never done business with him...but i've only heard good things about him. what i respect about mr. ronne is the number of years he has put into boas...and the volumes of data he has recorded reguarding their captive husbandry.

we can all learn from each other...and let's congratulate each other when there is a breakthrough or an outstanding accomplishment. mr. ronne has been one outstanding accomplishment after another.

Man, talk about your extremes - that snake looks like taffy. Although I don't think that Jeff Ronne is God, I do think that he's done excellent work in selective breeding, and sharing what he's learned in breeding. His info has sure taught me and many others more than what any other info has. I thank the real God for Jeff.

could remember my password on his forum to tell him myself!!!! That is an exciting albino that I wouldn't mind looking at for the next 30 years although I think when someone produces a "bloody albino" (blood boa X albino) that may give him a run for his money!!! The only problem is a "bloody albino" is at least 5 years away! People can say a lot of things about people but the "proof is in the pudding" and Jeff's been a leader and inovator in this hobby and has helped many newcomers in becoming accomplished breeders by sharing his notes and experiences with the rest of us. I've been around as long as Jeff and I'm sorry I can't make the same claim!! Jeff may not be a "god" but I have to give credit where credit is due!! Good work Jeff.................now when can I get one?? LOL

What do you think the pastel Sunglow blood albino will look like?

Tom Burke Apr 04, 2004 01:31 PM

LOL

Rainshadow Apr 05, 2004 08:03 AM

That some folks can honestly say they don't like that,is why Petco's still in business?....(just my opinion...which,I'm entitled to?)...Me...I'll take a dozen just like that...to go...please!

amazoa Apr 05, 2004 07:33 AM

Jeff is a great guy and deserves this success. He has helped me on numerous occasions and shares his knowledge on boas so freely. Congrat's go out to him.............Richard

Say what you will about his boas, since it is really just a matter of opinion. But Jeff Ronne as a person, is as top notch as they come. I have only been in this hobby for a couple years now and Jeff has been consistently helpful to me. A person of integrity is difficult enough to come by in the world today and Mr. Ronne should be recognized as such!

This is just my opinion!
