about what u said about those white stripes-..........i love them dont u-i love when igs have them-those white stripes are one of my favorite things about Espio-I like your ig alot.....thats very cool that u took the time to nurse him back to health from dehydration (cant spell-lol) well g2g talk to ya later

o yes those stribes are awsome looking.i was looking at his stomach and was like" omg look at that!" i love them.
The really cool part about nursing him back was that i had no knowledge about sick iguanas and did it all by my self. stupid reptile shops.
ps tiny was on my hand as i was typing this and was staring intently at espios picture

that is funny that he was looking at espio while u were typing-ur iguana is cool-he looks almost exactly like my cuz's ig (i swear it is like a clone) when i get a pic i will send it.......i feel like i know your ig because i hold my cuz's all the time! lol his ig doesn't have white stripes tho...........
Sorry i haven't been posting-i have been busy and my Yorksheir terrier (named Dover) got hit by a car yesterday and i have been worried sick-his pelvis is broke and he is in alot of pain but they thing he may be ok it is hard to say---the ***hole that hit him never stopped either!!!!!!!!!! god i hate stupid people that are mean to animals!!! well i g2g i will post again sometime-bye

sorry to hear about your dog. my cat a few years ago died from a car.

I was told that my andy would lose his aqua striping on his underside and base of his tail by the time he was a year and a half old. we are almost at that year and a half and andys stripes are very firmly in place and as bold and vibrant as ever.

they will dull out eventually.. when they start getting bigger there scales will spread out and that is when they start to get very pale in color because the scales are further apart.

here is a picture of tiny when he/she was dehydrated. i dont use the leash like that anymore and she has grown about an inch in 3 weeks. also it has fattened up and the colors are much more bright.

A few days of constant misting and feedig grapes and stuff with lots of water.
when i would pinch his legg the skin would stand up untill i puched it down... he was slugginsh and lethargic.

im almost positve that it would take more than a few days to get your igg back from dehydration... but what ever.. enjoy your igg
