Considering easterns, would like to know a few things

BOBAFETT Apr 04, 2004 03:21 AM

I am a king fanatic, and prefer them to all other snakes. Especially the common kings. I love brooksis to death, but i love the markings on the easternsa lot. And the fact they are the biggest king is a huge bonus Anyway, ive been looking up on their care, and requirements, and am getting more and more convinced i want one in my collection. But i would like to hear from ppl who have them. Are they alright with handling for the most part? And are there any special requirements i should know about? And what size cage should i have an baby, juvenille, and adult*as i will start with a baby*no one really says, least from the sites ive seen. But i really like the jet black with pure bright white. And does anyone know, or are breeders of these magnificent brutes? I'd love to hear back from as many ppl as possible, and hopefully, in a few months or even sooner, get a baby or juvenille.

Dan

Check out any of Keith Hillson's posts, he has a link to his Eastern website on there. There is also quite a bit of info in previous posts regarding eastern care and habits. I am kind of in the same boat and hope to aquire some easterns as well, my main stumbling block is a nonherper wife so I have to get things approved through mission control.
