thanx..why are females more expensive

thank you again for your help..can someone tell me why females are more expensive???do they make better pets????

Personally I think it comes down to breeding. If you get one nice male he can breed multiple females. Breeders then get more of a call for additional females. Because of this females tend to sell faster leaving breeders with a group of males. Males are sold for less to sell them a little quicker.
