Almost given up on the importing, my Dominican contact, is being...very Dominican (sorry, not wishing to offend anyone here!!!) at the moment!

West Indians certainly do move a their own pace. In my experience, it has taken up to 6 months just to secure the permit, then another 4 months to actually get your hands on it. Great pics of a rarely seen species. I'm surprised nobody is working with Uromacer.
