Heavy White Creamsicles

Kerby... Apr 04, 2004 10:12 AM

So why when producing striped corns does the white disappear. This year I will be breeding one of my (out of 2 males) High White Creamsicles to a striped corn. When I breed those back to each other to get creamsicle stripes - why does the white disappear?

Why can't we produce a white corn with an orange stripe? Maybe in a few years???

check this out.
She is pretty close to white with orange stripe.
From what I have seen of older specimens in her line it appears as if they maintain a light background into adulthood.

I'm trying to separate them into 2 lines: heavy orange and heavy white.

I know mine show MORE WHITE as they get older. How old is that one? I do believe a white corn with an orange stripe is in the future!
