I was wondering what kind of tortoise stays on the smaller side and when they get to be larger what do you keep them in? Also can some tortoises live outside for most of the year when they are bigger? Thanks for all the help.

wow big question, russians, star torts, hermans, red foot, yellow foot.star torts should be kept by people with years of tort keeping under there belt though.all stay rather small.they can be kept on a large tortoise table"its like a bookshelf on its back"you can do an internet search for tortoises tables that will help you alot.going outside is no problem when its not to cold it depends where you live.my two cents.
