Chris Baubel pyros Breeding...

jeph Apr 04, 2004 02:13 PM

Hi,
I took this pic yesterday of my Chris Baubel line pyros breeding. Both of these snakes are 2002 hatch animals. They grew faster than any other pyro I've raised up before. I'm excited to see the babys from this pair-(if they give me good eggs, fingers crossed, this is their first year) but you can see the difference in them, the female is much more orange than the male. Her and my other female Bauble line pyro are the most orange pyros I have, plus I've seen pics of others baubel line animals that also have a very orange color to them. Well I just wanted to share the pic and thanks for looking.

that I have ever seen. I love that line!!!!! I do believe that the males in pyros tend to be darker than the females. My males have a darker red than the females.

I also like the "H" white crossovers. Here in Prescott (Thumb Butte) the pyros have that too.

Good luck with those. I can see some good possibilities with selective breeding with that line.

Hi Kerby,
Thanks. I also like the "H" white bands too, thats what made me want him as a baby. the female also has some what of an aberrant pattern too. I ended up getting a female from prescott last oct.'03-( my uncle gave it to me, he found it there, it had a pretty bad wound on its tail area near the vent, but has healed nicely and did fine through brumation and is eating well now) I'll probally breed her x my het-anery-(hypoerythristic) or an applegate male, but I would still like to get a amel prescott pyro, so you if you have an extra male this year that you need to give away, hint, hint, lol. Anyways, talk to you later kerby,
jeff

I was gonna give you an albino Prescott pyro with ALL white "H" crossovers, but NOW I'm just going to look for " a male" LOL
