Kingsnake scales with dents????

Anyone know hat im talking about? Looks like a dent in a scale on the snake???? What is up with that?

Most likely, its because of the snakes moving around. When they turn or coil up, it bends the scales, and they leave little creases, or dents in them. I see it on all of my snakes, cept my lazy juvenille boa. So its not a problem.

ohhhhh! i asked about this a year or so ago. i noticed it on my Cali King and thought it was because he was overweight. you know, kinda like 'fat rolls' or 'fat creases'? you could really see them especially when he was curled up.
