what age does satanic leaftail gecko start breeding and if a uroplatus sleeps on the flooor almost coverered in moss but it doent seeem like his please help me out

ok, first of all it might help to tell what kind of uroplatus youve got. second of all, about the sleeping, i unfortunately noticed a male uroplatus phantasticus of mine suddenly went from sleeping in the branches every night to sleeping as well as spending a lot of time on the ground. i have rarely noticed my phantasticus adults on the ground when they are healthy. a couple days after mine started spending a lot more time on the ground, he was dead. it was so sudden, i didnt even think about the change in behavior until after he died. i didnt keep the body, although i wish i had, because i do not know what he died from. could have been old age, but it also could have had a parasite. parasites are known to manipulate their host's behavior.
